STARTEK PARTNERS WITH HGTC TO HOST JOB FAIR
Conway, S.C. – April 22, 2014 – Representatives from STARTEK Inc. and Horry Georgetown Technical College will host an upcoming job fair on Wednesday, April 30th from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. on the college’s Conway campus. The job fair will be held in the D. Kent Sharples Student and Community Life Complex (Building 1100) just off of Victory Lane. Interested applicants should visit the Career Resource Center for directions on how and where to apply.
“STARTEK is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives, who we call Brand Warriors. In this role, our employees provide inbound customer service to our clients’ customers via phone for everything from billing questions, account activations, upgrades, and troubleshooting service,” said Kim Kinkade, Human Resource Manager for STARTEK Myrtle Beach.
The job fair will be open to the public, but those interested in applying must meet the following requirements:
- Full-time, open availability between 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. hours of operation, 7 days/week, 365 days/year
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have at least 6 months of recent customer service experience in the following industries (call center, retail, hospitality or service industry)
- Computer experience
- Prior sales experience a PLUS
